When people are sleep deprived or suffering from sleep disorders it is not uncommon for productivity and creativity in their lives to suffer. My great passion is to bring good sleep health to those who struggle with it - to help people who know what it feels like to walk through life like a zombie. I help my patients, along with their physician, find solutions to sleep issues and sleep disorders.
Sometimes we think we just have to push through, whether it's from the demands of work, school, family, short-term stressors, or grief. In the short-term, we can make adjustments to get through the day. But after a few days, sleep deprivation is something that needs to be taken seriously. Sleep deprivation builds over time, wearing away at our quality of life. While I work with people of all shapes, sizes, races, and genders, I specialize in women's health, as women often spend their days working and caring for everyone else. Women end their days exhausted and looking for a restful night's sleep, only to find themselves more frustrated and exhausted the next day, followed by other sleepless nights. And the cycle continues.
My extensive background includes over 18 years working in respiratory care and sleep medicine in both a hospital and independent sleep lab setting. I hold a B.S. in Business Management, a license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist with the MN Board of Medical Practice, and a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist with the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists.
I work with several Board Certified Sleep physicians who will review, interpret, and help make recommendations to assist you with your sleep issues. Restful sleep is a necessity of life and can be restored.
Please allow me and the Synergy Sleep Health Team help you find out what's keeping you up at night and preventing you from waking up refreshed.
